Hercules generally hires new college graduates to fill open Analyst positions. These individuals will have the opportunity to participate in many aspects of a project due to the relatively small size of the professional staff and deal team, and will also provide exposure to the firm’s senior professionals. Typical responsibilities include financial analysis, computer modeling, research and competitive analysis; all of which the Analyst will compile into an investment due diligence recommendation to the Investment Committee for approval.

Candidates who receive an offer will begin their employment in early July with an informal and intensive on-the-job two- to three-week training program that covers the basics of accounting, corporate finance and financial modeling, an overview of Hercules’ corporate history and operations, as well as a review of the firm’s technology systems and database capabilities.
